Yes, I'll Take Ketchup With That Foot....
Well, it looks like the Nets are going down. In a previous post, I tried to make a case for the Nets on how/why they'd beat the Heat. The Nets are now down 0-3. Shaq has not been 100% and yet we still haven't been able to beat them. Last night we had numerous chances to win the game, but fell in double OT.
Hey, if Boston can come back from being down 0-3, hope is still alive for the Nets......

I truly am sorry, Daffy... hate to say I told you so. The Nets did play valiantly, but they were just so outmatched. The Heat are a very, very good team, and it's not just Wade and Shaq. Their role players are very solid. They have a very real chance of winning the title.
In my opinion, the Nets need to sign a gie like Kurt Thomas or Udonis Haslem during this off-season. Pair a guy like that up with Jefferson, Carter and Kidd and they could be solid.
It still made no sense (this point can be beaten to death) to essentially dump K. Mart and Kittles and then sign Vince Carter for a decent amount of money. That front office move belongs with the Knicks' management, not with the Nets.
It must hurt you in your heart to see Mourning putting up big games for the Heat.
