Shoot First, Ask Questions Later....
Florida Gov. Jeb Bush signed a new anti-crime law on Tuesday that allows people to kill in self-defense without first trying to flee.
Supporters say the law is a logical extension of common law that allows homeowners who fear for their lives to use deadly force to defend themselves from an intruder in their homes.
How is that a logical extension of the homeowner's law? If a guy is breaking into your house and you're in fear of your life, where do you run to? There's no place to run. If you're in a public place and you fear for your life because of someone/somepeople trying to do something to you, you should try to get out of the situaiton as quick as possible. Shooting someone should be a last resort. Not the first.
